Niko Alexopoulos

Coach Niko brings over 50 years of experience as a player and coach. Working primarily with the keepers an defensive line, Alexopoulos helped mold the last line of defense to one of the best in the conference. In his five years as keeper coach, Pride keepers have finished in the top-10 in the conference in total saves and have finished top-five in shutouts. Alexopoulos has played a major in recruitment and developing game plans. When he is not working with the Pride, the Jackson, N.J. native serves as the director of coaching for the Jackson Soccer Club and the US Youth Futsal Academy NJ.

Farrell Pomponio

As a former Lion herself, coach Farrell has returned to the very pitch she played on. Coach Farrell has been involved in coaching from a young age. Before bringing her knowledge and passion for the game to the college level, she has worked with multiple clubs across New Jersey as a head trainer and coach.

Farrell brings with her a vast understanding of the game, not just as a successful coach, but as a player on both the collegiate and post-collegiate level. She played in the WPSL semi-professional league before advancing to the UWS pro-am league where she currently plays for NJ Copa FC. Farrell has also played professional futsal.

Farrell was chosen for the U.S. Select National Team while earning an appearance vs. the Argentinian National Team.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

The FDP Futsal Experience is 100% club neutral and is supplemental/developmental to soccer. It is the perfect, fastest pathway to top level futsal and soccer development. It is also a great way to be identified for USYF and other regional, national and international level opportunities. On the soccer side it is an additional opportunity to be identified by college coaches as many futsal coaches are also collegiate coaches. The opportunities continue on the international stage as players maybe seen by international coaches.

It is open to all players ages U5 to U18. Players/families have various option levels to get started and increase involvement as needed.
