Assistant Coaching Position with U.S. National Team

 SOME ACCOMPLISHMENTS 

  • 1996, Otto Orf is chosen as the US Men’s National Futsal Team goalkeeper and wins the gold medal at the first CONCACAF Futsal Competition in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Orf was awarded the goalkeeper of the tournament as the US team qualified to compete in the FIFA Futsal World Cup in Segovia, Spain 1996.
     
  • In 2007 Chris Dore and Otto Orf create the Great Lakes Futsal League (formerly Cleveland Futsal League) for 8 years have been growing the league from 65 teams in one location it’s first year to 3 locations and over 300 teams each winter.

  • 2008, The Hands On Sports Foundation creates Project Retread collecting used soccer shoes and balls from suburban soccer leagues and delivering them to children worldwide, specifically adopting 6 schools in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. In the past 3 years HOSF has delivered over 1,500 pair of shoes, hundreds of balls, food processor & classroom fans to at risk children. We are also working with the Costa Rican soccer program and corporations to begin taking American children to Costa Rica for trips incorporating mission work, ecotourism and futsal.
     
  • 2009-present. Hands On Sports Foundation (HOSF), has taken youth teams to the US Youth Futsal National Championships in Kansas City winning 10 national titles in the past 5 years. We also traveled with 2 high school teams to Canada’s first international Futsal Invitational Tournament in Toronto. Expansion to a second school this December.
     
  • September 2013, Great Lakes Futsal is awarded one of only 4, ID Camps for the US Men's National Futsal Team to be held right here in NE Ohio.
